糞メール

最近、1ヶ月ほど以下のようなクソメールが山のように来る。しかも、だんだんとやり方が巧妙になって来た。皆さんもご用心あれ。

medical treatment in the Hospital named above. I was married to
Dr.Ricky Brown a former worker at the British Railway
Corporation who passed on in July 2004. We were married for
Twenty Two years without a child.
Before his death he made a vow and told me to use his wealth
that he shall leave behind for the upliftment of the down
trodden and the less privileged in the society.

Since his death I decided not to re-marry or step out of my
matrimonial home, simply as a mark of respect for my departed
husband.
When my late husband was alive he deposited the sum of
(6,800,000:00) Six Million Eight Hundred Thousand US Dollars in
a Vault in Company in Europe. The money still
remain there till this day.

Recently I have been diagnosed of cancer of the lungs, my
Doctor told me that I would not last more than 150days. Though
what disturbs me most is the stroke attack that I had late last
year 2005 that has rendered me immovable.
Having known my condition I decided to donate this fund to an
individual or better still a God fearing person who would
religiously utilize this money to fund and provide succor to
the poor, indigent persons and Orphans in the Society.

未知のレコード

スウェーデンのDumex Recordの1番、Toots ThielemansのEP盤。どうやら健康食品の会社らしい。そこの非売品レコード…か？　音源はメトロノームの可能性が高い、が詳細不明。

本日入荷

Savoyの１２インチ盤、チャーリー・パーカー３枚。ジャケットはセカンドだと思う。パーカーはモダン・ジャズの基本だと思うが、どうも人気が無いらしい。という訳で自分用。
Steeple Chaseのディーラー・プレゼント用EP３種。Dexter Gordon, Kenny Drew, Horace Parlan。デクスターはジャケットが白地とクリーム地と２種類あるが、今回のはクリーム地。どっちが先なんだ？
デンマークのトランペッター、Jorgen RygのEP６枚。というと、知っている人は驚くかも知れない。EP３枚しか無い筈なのに…と。ご安心有れ、あとの３枚は、所謂スポークン・ワードなのであった（笑）。何しろ多彩な人なのは知っていた。画家でもあり、個性派俳優でもある。ジャズのEP３枚は、後年、米エマーシーでLP化されている。これは、かつてヤフオクで1,300円で買った。こういうマニアックな盤は人気が無いらしい。
同じくペットのAllan Botschinskyのシングル盤2枚。これは珍品か？　ジャズでないのが寂しいが、ちゃんとアドリブしているのは流石。
デンマークDebutのEP、ミンガスとマックス・ローチのデュオ。初めて入手したがカフェ・ボヘミヤでの実況盤。傷有りなんで安かった。

色々入手

色々と入手してはいるのだが、中々これといってご紹介出来るのが無いのがツライ…。
件のRichard Williamsも来たけれど、若干ノイズが入る。同時にNancy HarrowとSteve Lacyも入手したけれど、前者はジャケットに難有り。後者は綺麗だった。それと、Chet Baker Sings(Pacific Jazz 1222)これは見た目とは裏腹に、結構ノイズが入る。というか、早くモノ専用針で聞ける環境を整えないと、と思う。
スウェーデンの美空ひばり？Alice Babsが1963年にパリでエリントンと吹き込んだリプリーズ盤を2枚入手したけど、両方ともドイツ盤だった。これのフランス盤ってあるんだろうか？　肝心の本国では、後年、同じジャケット・デザインでTelesterで発売されていたのは持っていたけれど、とうの昔に売ってしまった。で、2枚のドイツ盤なんですが、レーベル・デザインが異なるんですよ。結論は、色の濃いコーティング・ジャケットが後期ラベルなのでは？という事になりました。でも、印刷は両方とも昔ながらの活版印刷です。

RICHARD WILLIAMS - New Horn In Town

　わが国では、言わずと知れたペット・ワン・ホーンの名作、キャンディド盤。70年代、ソニーが国内盤を出してこのかた、ついぞオリジナル盤にはお目にかかれなかった。というよりも、見かけても高くて手が出なかった、高々2万円位か？　Candidは倒産したんで、結構デッド・ストックが出回ったんですよねぇ。それでも手が出なかった…。遂に、入手出来るかも…送料別で1000円以下で。道程は長い、でも念ずれば意自ずから通ず、の例えもあるし。しかし、念じてから30年は永いよなぁ。
